Who's Hungry?

In the fall of 2018, six regional food banks came together to draw attention to the rising number of clients accessing food support services across the GTA: Daily Bread Food Bank, Feed the Need in Durham, Food Bank of York Region, Knights Table, North York Harvest Food Bank, and The Mississauga Food Bank. 

Serving a combined total of over 200,000 clients annually, the GTA food banks share a vision of ensuring no one in our cities go hungry.   

You can fight hunger in your community by partnering with your local food bank in three key ways: 

1. Donate funds. Your financial donations help the GTA food banks purchase food at wholesale rates and distribute it across our cities. 
2. Donate food. You can purchase extra food items when you're grocery shopping and drop them off at a donation bin.
3. Spread the word. You can tell your friends and family about the need in your community by sharing on Social Media!
